CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Charitable Foundation is announcing its 2010 grant cycle. Effective immediately the Foundation is beginning its grant application process for Clearfield County non-profit organizations with a IRS 501(c)(3) determination. To be eligible for a grant award, applying agencies/organizations must provide services in local communities and be located within Clearfield County. The deadline for submission of grant applications is Nov. 1. Awards will be announced by January 2011.
Detailed grant application guidelines and requirements are outlined in the grant application packet, which is available to all qualifying agencies/organizations by writing to the Clearfield Bank and Trust Company, c/o Trust Department at PO Box 171, 11 North Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 or by calling the Trust Department at 765-7682.
A pre-application workshop to answer questions for prospective applicants will be held on Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m. in Westminster Hall of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church. Participation is not required in order to apply for a grant. Those attending should obtain and review the application packet prior to the workshop.
