Rebecca Phillips, 94, of Brisbin died Tuesday at TLC Manor.
Born on July 15, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Abe and Harriet (Hyde) Poole. She attended the First Church of God, Brisbin, and was a part of the Gleanors Woman’s Ministry of the church.
Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker.
She married Paul M. Phillips on Aug. 27, 1934 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1992.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Abe, William, Donald, Albert and Edward Poole; two grandsons; and one daughter, Marion Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by three daughters, Ethel Jean Rowles of Millmont; Pauline Redmond and husband, Kenneth of Philipsburg; and Adeline Stiner of LeContes Mills; two sons, Kenneth Phillips and wife, Barbara of Brisbin; and Joseph Phillips and wife Wanda of Osceola Mills; one sister, Frances Sabo of New York; and one brother, Arthur Poole, also of New York.
She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren, 25 great great-grandchildren and 20 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, with the Rev. John T. Dill officiating. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
