UNION TOWNSHIP – A 19-year-old New Bethlehem man was flown to the Altoona Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at 10:41 a.m. Tuesday on United States Route 322 near Canary Road in Union Township, Clearfield County.
The DuBois-based State Police identified the man as Curtis Lee, 19, of New Bethlehem. They indicated that James McLoughlin, 47, of Homer City was also injured in the accident.
McLoughlin was transported by Brady Township Emergency Medical Services from the scene. The severity of injuries was neither indicated for Lee nor McLoughlin in the police report.
According to the accident report, the Lee vehicle was traveling westbound on USR 322. His vehicle crossed the double lines and struck the McLoughlin vehicle.
Zimmerman Towing transported both vehicles from the scene.
