On Sunday police arrested a 35-year-old woman for theft after she removed money from her place of employment and attempted to flee the area by bus. Officers were able to intercept her in DuBois with the assistance of the Sandy Township Police Department. She was placed in Clearfield County Jail.

On Friday morning at about 1 a.m. officers were conducting a patrol in the Clearfield area. Three people were arrested following a short vehicle pursuit and foot chase. Antonie Delvin, 20 of New York, was traveling westbound on US Route 322 in the East 12th Street area when a he struck a patrol car belonging to the Morris-Cooper Regional Police Department. The patrol vehicle was on a stop on US Route 322. A vehicle pursuit was initiated. The occupants eventually led officers on a foot chase, but were apprehended a short time later. Delvin was arraigned and placed in Clearfield County Jail on numerous charges. Two other people were placed in CCJ as well. CBPD officers were assisted by members of the Lawrence Township Police Department, DuBois City Police Department, Sandy Township Police Department and Curwensville Borough Police Department.
Police came across a structure fire on Daisy Street. The fire department was alerted.
