CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield fall baseball team will open the 2010 season by hosting a wood bat tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.

Coach Sid Lansberry’s 22-player squad will play Brookville in the 4 p.m. nightcap on Saturday’s tripleheader.

In earlier games, DuBois is paired against Moshannon Valley at 11 a.m. and Brookville at 1:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Clearfield draws DuBois in the opener and Moshannon Valley in the late game. Mo Valley and Brookville are booked for the 1:30 game.

Any game, or games, postponed because of weather will be moved to Monday.
