Geraldine T. (Kentoski) Carlson, age 82 of Wayne Road in DuBois, PA died Aug. 31, 2010 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born on May 20, 1928 in Tyler, PA. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Rachel (Seduski) Kentoski.
On Oct. 20, 1950, she married Raine Carlson. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1964.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bird watching and reading. She also worked for the Bell Telephone Co. for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed helping with the church Polish Festivals.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine “Lori” Stormer of DuBois, PA, and two sons John S. Carlson and his wife, Georgia of West Middlesex, PA and James R. Carlson of DuBois, PA, two brothers, Stanley Kentoski of Hollywood, PA and Donald Kentoski and his wife, Evelyn of Hollywood, PA, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Irene Moorehouse.
Visitation will be held on Sept. 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.. from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sept. 8 at 10 a.m.. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
