– Police reported an incident of access device fraud via the internet Friday. Someone utilized a 31-year-old Ramey man’s credit card information to make at least six purchases from several different businesses via the internet. An estimated $2,000 – $3,000 has reportedly been stolen from the victim. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
– Police reported an incident of crap metal theft that occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 7 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday in a wooded area off of Shiloh Road in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. Known suspects arrived at the Woolridge Coal Company and allegedly used an oxy-acetylane torch to cut sections of the railroad track. They then allegedly removed approximately 800 feet of railroad tracks before turning them in as scrap metal. Total damages/loss has not been determined. Charges are currently pending further investigation.
– Police reported an incident of criminal trespass that occurred sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Saturday on Heverly Boulevard in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) allegedly broke into a 60-year-old man’s shed and removed a 1989 Ford F-150 regular pick-up cab, which was gold and silver in color. – Police reported an incident of retail theft that occurred at 9:05 p.m. Thursday at the Dollar General Store in Irvona Borough, Clearfield County. A 38-year-old Beccaria Township woman allegedly attempted to remove $49.69 from the store. Charges have been filed through the district court.
– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday on Limb Road in Morrisdale, Clearfield County. A Morrisdale woman told police that someone smashed the windshield on her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.
