– Police reported an incident of burglary/theft of a motor vehicle that occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday at a Marvin Street residence in Jones Township, Elk County. A person(s) reportedly unlawfully entered a 74-year-old Wilcox woman’s residence and removed her wallet and car keys. They then reportedly stole her vehicle from behind the woman’s home. Troopers indicated the vehicle was later recovered in Johnsonburg. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway State Police at 814-776-6136.
