– Police reported an Act 64 violation at 10:09 p.m. Aug. 21 on Stevenson Hill Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. A 29-year-old Brookville woman was allegedly observed in a cow pasture along Stevenson Hill Road. While obtaining identification from the accused, troopers found her in possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Charges are currently pending further investigation.
– Police reported an incident of theft by deception that occurred sometime between 10 a.m. July 31 and 4 p.m. Aug. 11 in Bray Township, Clearfield County. A51-year-old Luthersburg woman sent someone a check in the amount of $60 for a cell phone. She reportedly hasn’t received the cell phone from a private seller. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
