– Police reported an incident of domestic simple assault/harassment at approximately 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Worth Township, Centre County. A 29-year-old Kylertown woman arrived at the barracks and reported an incident that had had occurred between her and her boyfriend, Kenneth Lee Moore III, also of Kylertown. S
he told police they engaged in an argument, which turned physical, while they were traveling on state Route 220, Interstate 99 and United States Route 322. She said they were traveling from the State College area to Philipsburg.
Police said Moore was arrested for simple assault and harassment and taken to the Centre County Booking Center. He was arraigned and released on $15,000 straight bail. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 18.
– Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 7 in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) reportedly entered a 46-year-old Philipsburg woman’s residence and removed money as well as prescribed medications. They then fled the scene.
– Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred at 3 p.m. Saturday along East Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 24-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly grabbed an 18-year-old Philipsburg woman by her throat and pinned her against the wall. Charges will be filed through the district court.
