Police report an incident of recklessly endangering another person that occurred on Aug. 8 at 8:45 in the evening at a location on Birch Street in Rush Township. A white male approximately 40 years of age with a female passenger was riding an ATV on Birch Street while three teenagers were walking along the same road. The man taunted them and swerved his ATV toward them. No one was hit with the ATV. The investigation continues.
Police report a crash that occurred on Monday at 10:45 a.m. on US Route 220 ALT in Huston Township. The crash occurred as a Toyota Camry driven by Shaozian Zhu was traveling northbound on state Route 3040. The driver and passenger were lost and their GPS unit told them to make a right turn.  Zhu did so in an attempt to turn onto Ardrey Hollow Road at a speed to fast to make the turn, and his vehicle traveled down an embankment on the northwest corner of the intersection and rolled over onto its side in a field. Both occupants were able to crawl out of the vehicle and only minor injuries were reported.
Police report an incident of burglary that occurred between 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 5 and 8:00 a.m. on Aug. 9 at a location on Eighth Street in the Philipsburg Borough. The incident occurred when uknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence and removed a bottle of prescription medication from her bedroom. The suspect(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Police report an incident of a bad check being used on April 26 in the Philipsburg Borough. The crime occurred when the accused issued a check in the amount of $18.60 that could not be honored to the victim. Charges of bad checks were filed.
