Police Report: PSP Philipsburg

Police found a Marlin .22 caliber rifle. It was found at Hanna Furnace Road in Rush Township. If anyone has information pertaining to this rifle they can contact police at 342-3370.
Sometime between July 20 and July 21 someone forced their way into the VFW through a side door. Once inside, $34 was taken from the bar countertop. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Police reported a one-vehicle driving under the influence accident on state Route 3020 near Steele Hollow Road in Huston Township. A 2year-old??Julian man was driving a 2004 Chrevrolet Impala when he veered off the road, into the berm, hit a road sign, and then went into the guide rails. He went back onto the road, crossing over the center line, and went onto the berm on the left side of the road. He reentered the road again, crossed the center line, exited the berm and then stopped. He left the scene and walked three miles before police caught up with him. Officers observed signs of intoxication and placed him under arrest for DUI. Formal charges are pending the results of blood alcohol content testing.
