Police Report: PSP Philipsburg

Police report an incident of burglary and theft that occurred between 11:30 p.m. on July 15 and 5:30 a.m. on July 16 at the VFW building at the Front Street and Spruce Street intersection in the Philipsburg Borough. It was reported to police that unknown suspect(s) forced open a side door to the VFW building. Once inside, suspect(s) stole a small amount of alcohol and a small sum of money. The suspect(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Police responded to an incident of retail theft that occurred on July 17 at 10:58 at the Minit Mart located on Front Street. Police were called to the scene of a gas drive-off where an unknkown male driving a dark blue or black sports car, possibly a Tiburon, pumped $10 worth of gas and drove off south on Front Street. The vehicle is said to have a white “tribal” decal across the top of the windshield.
