- Police are investigating an ATV crash that occurred on state Route 2035 on Hardscrabble Road in Munson. James A. Netterblade, 66, was driving a Suzuki Quad Runner on state Route 2035 when he lost control. Netterblade was ejected from the ATV. The Suzuki was lying in the northbound lane of travel and continued until hitting a small tree. Netterblade was taken by the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Service to the Kylertown Truck Stop where he was air lifted by Geisinger helicopter #2 to Altoona Regional. Police were assisted by Geisinger Helicopter, Moshannon Valley EMS, and the Morris and Winburne Volunteer Fire Companies. Anyone with information relating to this crash is asked to contact the state police in Clearfield at 857-3800.
- Police responded to a one vehicle accident that occurred as a 20-year-old woman was driving on Princess Street in Woodward Township. While she was negotiating a curve in the road she left the roadway and lost control causing her 1994 Chevrolet Lumina to hit a ditch. She left the vehicle at the scene of the accident. Keith’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene. She was cited for various violations..
- Moderate to severe injuries were suffered after Craig W. Davis, 56 of Hummelstown, crashed his 2004 Ford Ranger on Interstate 80. The accident occurred in the west bound lane at mile marker 131.8 in Graham Township. Davis went off the road for an unknown reason. The Ford went off the south berm and entered a grass median. It then continued through the center median before it hit a traffic reflector. After impact the Ford re-entered the roadway and rolled four to five times before it came to a stop lying on its left side along the south berm in a northerly direction. Davis was taken to the Clearfield Hospital before being transferred to Altoona Regional for treatment of injuries. Police were assisted by the Winburne Fire Company and the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Service.
- Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that happened sometime between July 13 and 14 at the parking lot of Terrace Drive in Woodward Township. . Someone entered Raymond C. Bloom’s vehicle and took two Sony E-plode head units along with his wallet before leaving. Anyone with information is urged to contact the state police at 857-3800.
- A burglary occurred on Black Walnut Street in Coalport. An 83-year-old woman told police that someone entered her home and removed a strong box that contained personal items and checks.
