– Police reported a driving under the influence accident at approximately 11 p.m. Friday along state Route 2003 in Fox Township, Elk County. A 34-year-old Berwick woman was involved in a single vehicle accident, when her vehicle left the roadway, traveled into a ditch and flipped onto its side.
She was transported to the Elk Regional Heath Center for medical treatment. She suffered minor injuries in the accident during which she was not wearing her safety belt. Charges are currently pending blood test results.
Police were assisted by the Fox Township Fire Company and Ambulance.
– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday in Ridgway Township, Elk County. A person(s) reportedly struck a 42-year-old Ridgway man’s mailbox with an unknown blunt object, knocking it off the post and breaking the box. The person then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway State Police at 814-776-6136.
