– Police reported an incident of disorderly conduct at 11:05 p.m. July 2 in Sandy Township, Clearfield County. A 20-year-old DuBois male was cited for disorderly conduct following a traffic stop along state Route 219.
– Police reported an incident of simple assault at 10 p.m. Saturday in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. A known suspect reportedly grabbed a 22-year-old Sykesville man from behind and threw him to the floor inside his residence where the victim was a guest.
A second, known suspect reportedly punched the victim in the side of his head while wearing a class ring. The victim suffered lacerations on his head as a result of the incident.
The victim was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center, where he received stitches for his injuries. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
