Lewis E. Rusnak, age 80 of Hawk Run passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center, DuBois.
Born March 6, 1930 he was the son of the late John M. and Elizabeth Rusnak.
He was employed with building construction through union local # 824, Bellefonte and had been employed with the maintenance department of Penn State, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic church, Hawk Run and was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Union, Branch 456K. He was also a member of the Teamsters, local #8 while working at Penn State.
He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth L. Rusnak of Hawk Run.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, George, John and Edward J. Rusnak; and four sisters, Mary Barno, Margaret Anderson, Agnes Gleason and Helen Martin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert J. Horgas as celebrant.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the Beezer Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg
