CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of July 12, 2010.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as William Andrew Fabiseski, 35, of South Front Street, Philipsburg. He stated that Fabiseski is wanted for failure to appear at criminal call on May 27, 2010.
On Nov. 9, 2009, Trooper Mary McGinnis of the Pennsylvania State Police, Woodland
Barracks, filed a criminal complaint, charging Fabiseski with: burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by McGinnis states that a private residence along Copeland Road, in Decatur Township, was burglarized on July 4, 2009 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Approximately $1,370 worth of jewelry was taken from the residence.
On Aug. 4, 2009, the state police recovered several pieces of the stolen jewelry that were identified by the victim. The state police obtained further information from witnesses reporting that Fabiseski was responsible for the thefts.
A preliminary hearing was held on Nov. 18, 2009 at which time Fabiseski waived the charges to court. On May 27, 2010, Fabiseski failed to appear for criminal call, and a warrant was issued for Fabiseski’s arrest.
