Police Report: PSP-Philipsburg

Police reported a two-vehicle accident that occurred at mile marker 59 on Interstate 99 in the north bound lane. The accident occurred as Christy Doyle, of Portage, pulled off the road due to vehicle problems. As she attempted to drive her 1992 Plymouth Van back onto the highway she was hit by the 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Jonathan Singel of State College. Singel attempted to avoid the accident but ended up hitting the left rear of the van.
Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred at a residence on South Fourth Street sometime between June 27 and June 29 as reported by Coty S. Mull of Philipsburg. Mull told police that someone scratched the fender and hood of his 1994 Ford Probe while it was parked in his driveway. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police.
