A search warrant will be obtained and charges filed against a man who has been harassing an 18-year-old Morrisdale woman, after receving messages and phone calls from a restricted number.
Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Graham Road in Woodland. Karen V. Valimont, 48, reported to police that someone cut her horse fence in 15 different locations. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800.
Police responded to a three-vehicle accident along US Route 322 west of Rock Lane in Bradford Township. The accident occurred as the 1995 Ford Contour, driven by Joseph Spellen of Rockton, and the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by Tina Yard of Clearfield, were stopped behind a vehicle waiting on oncoming traffic to make a right hand turn in the west bound lane on US Highway 322. While those vehicles were stopped, a Morrisdale man driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, and failed to see the vehicles of Spellen and Yard. The Silverado hit the rear end of the Dodge which caused it to hit the end of the Ford. All drivers were wearing seatbelts. Yard did sustain minor injuries. The Morrisdale man was cited for following too closely.
Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief in which someone put sugar into the fuel tanks of a Troy Bilt Roto Tiller and Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor owned by Mark Read, 45 of Wallaceton. The damage is estimated to be $1900.
