– Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. June 25 and 8 a.m. June 26 in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) removed a fold-up lawn chair and a wooden sign, which said open, from the Hollis Garden Center. Both items were located in front of the produce stand near the side of state Route 970. – Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred sometime between 8 a.m. June 23 and 5:30 a.m. Monday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Two Philipsburg residents told police that they received multiple harassing phone calls from a 69-year-old Philipsburg man between the previous dates. He was subsequently advised not to have any contact with them. The victims didn’t wish to pursue an arrest.
– Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred sometime at approximately 9:15 – 9:30 p.m. June 23 in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 19-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly yelled obscenities and racial slurs on two occasions toward a 30-year-old Philipsburg man. A non-traffic citation will be filed before Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair.
– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime from 11 – 11:30 p.m. June 25 in Taylor Township, Centre County. Someone allegedly spun the tires of his or her vehicle on a 44-year-old Port Matilda man’s lawn before fleeing the scene. Damage is estimated at $100. – Police reported an incident of theft that occurred at 9:30 p.m. on June 26 at an East Locust Street residence in Philipsburg. Two bicycles, which were left unattended and unlocked, were removed from the front yard of the residence.
Police described the first bike as a maroon-colored “chopper” style bike while the other was a gray and green “savannah” style bike. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based State Police at 814-342-3370.
– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime from June 14 – 27 in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Someone allegedly shot two, single-pane windows out of a garage door with a BB gun at an East Spruce Street address.
