DUBOIS – DuBois City Solicitor, Toni Cherry, presented two ordinance readings at Monday night’s city council meeting.
The first was the second reading of Council Bill No. 1849. It amended Chapter 15, Part X, Section 1003, which provides for residential and commuter parking districts and requires parking permits for parking. This ordinance will affect East Second Avenue from College Place to First Street. This area will be removed as part of the “R” residential district.
The second reading was the first reading of Council Bill No. 1850, Chapter 15, Part IV, Section 402. This ordinance added that parking on the East Side of Howard Avenue between Evergreen Street and McCullough Street is prohibited.
