– Someone found personal property along Third Street and turned it over to police. They were able to contact the owner.
– Police received a parking complaint along East Market Street.
– Police were asked to check the welfare of an East Nine Street resident.
– Police reported that a black wallet was turned in at the station after it was found along Barclay Street. The owner can claim the wallet by calling the Clearfield Borough Police Department at 814-765-7819.
– Police located a small, brown dog along Williams Street. They transported the dog to the kennel; it didn’t have any tags.
– Police were called to check the welfare of a female in the East End of town. They reported the female was OK.
– Police assisted the Lawrence Township Police Department with a custody issue.
– Police responded to a hit and run incident along North Third Street. Officers are looking for a red Ford Escort, which has damage to the front, passenger side. The accident occurred overnight Saturday into Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 814-765-7819.
– Police responded to a reported fight along Water Street. Involved persons fled the scene prior to police arrival.
– Police were unable to locate someone who was suspected to be driving under the influence in the area of West Market Street.
– Police responded to a domestic incident along McBride Street.
– Police assisted the Lawrence Township Police Department with an incident in Hyde.
– Police reported a minor accident that occurred at approximately 8:53 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Front and Bridge Streets.
A Clearfield man was traveling south on West Front Street and filed to yield to William Craig of DuBois, whom was operating a motorcycle. He maneuvered a left turn in front of the motorcycle, causing Craig to lay it down in order to avoid the collision.
Police indicated the Clearfield man failed to stop and fled the scene. He will be cited for several violations.
