Police reported a two-vehicle accident that occurred on US Route 322 at East Mountain Road in Rush Township. The accident occurred as Margaret Neese, 74 of Pottersdale, attempted to cross US Route 322 in her 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and entered the path of the 2002 Ford Windstar that was being driven by Deborah Clark, 38 of Philipsburg. There were no injuries. Both vehicles received minor damage.
According to police, an incident of criminal trespass occurred from April 17 to June 17 in the Philipsburg Borough. The incident ocurred approximately two months ago when the former tenant of a Presqueisle Street apartment moved out. The accused stayed at the apartment after the tenant moved out The accused has no lease or written agreement with the owner of the property and the victim has asked the accused to leave on multiple occasions verbally and in writing. After two months of living in the apartment the accused continues to refuse to leave. Charges of Criminal Trespass have been filed at District Court 49-3-03 of the accused.
Police report an incident of criminal trespass that occurred Sunday at 5:15 in the evening at a residence in the Philipsburg Borough. The crime occured when the suspect was observed by a neighbor exiting from the victim’s apartment. He had been told by the victim about a month before that he was not permitted to be in the residence. The victim also reported that the suspect had stolen a roast beef from her freezer. The investigation is continuing.
