CLEARFIELD – Negotiations are underway between the Clearfield Borough Police Department and their union, the Teamsters.
According to Leslie Stott, Clearfield Borough operations manager, personnel and the Mayor James Schell, along with Scott Blissmann, an attorney hired by the borough to deal with the negotiation of the contract, met with a union representative and a union steward. Both parties submitted proposals.
The current contract expires in December. Stott told council that she will keep them abreast of any changes in the negotiations.
