Donna L. Bratton, age 66, of Philipsburg passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at her residence.
Born May 22, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Kasnick.
She was a 1962 graduate of Morris Township High School and a graduate of Adale Allen Beauty School. She was a homemaker and a daycare provider for 25 years.
She was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Hawk Run and a member of the Daughters of the King Guild of the church.
On February 1, 1962 she wed Willard D. Bratton who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Diane Wesesky and her husband Christopher of Philipsburg; three sons, Joseph Bratton and Daniel Bratton of Hawk Run and Jason Bratton and his wife Kimberly of Philipsburg; and six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Askey.
She was the last of her generation.
A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Whitman Street, Hawk Run on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Clifford A. Johnston and Father William R. Walker officiating.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Good Shepherd. Burial will be held in the Ashcroft Cemetery, Hawk Run.
Arrangements are under the direction of the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre Street, Philipsburg.
