Anthoney E. Kechisen, age 76, of Osceola Mills passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Tyrone Hospital.
Born March 6, 1934 he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary Kechisen.
He was a 1952 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School and worked for Al Hamilton Contracting Company and retired from the former Chevrolet Harpster & Company.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills and was a member of the Polish National Alliance.
Mr. Kechisen also served in the U.S. Army.
In 1976 he wed Marjorie A. (Reynak) Kechisen who survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Jennifer M. Kechisen and her friend Rob A. Young of Harrisburg; a son, Jonathan Kechisen of Osceola Mills; a sister, Mary Victoria and her husband Robert of Monroe, CT; and three brothers, George Kechison and his wife Sophie of Conventry, RI, John Kechisen of Osceola Mills and Michael Kechisen of Chesterland, OH.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Sivi and Anna Gonos and three brothers, Andrew, Joseph and Stanley Kechisen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas officiating.
Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills.
