On May 25 police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident near Sheetz on North Brady Street. Officers found that a 1996 Oldsmobile Sedan, driven by a -year-old 19 DuBoisman cut in front of a 2006 Toyota station wagon, driven by Stacey Constable, 36 of DuBois. Constable was attempting to make a left hand turn when she was cut off. There were no injuries to either driver. The Oldsmobile had to be towed from the scene. The man was issued a traffic citation for a vehicle code violation.
On May 26 police were called to the 100 block of South Franklin Street for a report of an intoxicated man. Officers found the man fitting the description as he was stumbling down the sidewalk. The man was identified as a 37-year-old DuBois man. Police found that he was on probation in Clearfield County and was not to be consuming alcohol. He was taken into custody and issued a citation for public drunkenness. He was transported by Clearfield County Probation to the Clearfield County Jail.
