Police responded to East Walnut Street in order to assist animal control and Children, Youth Services. A 32-year old woman will be cited for disorderly conduct for her actions towards animal control officers and others present.
Police are investigating a possible theft by deception when a Turnpike Avenue resident attempted to purchase a puppy over the internet. The person sent a check in the mail but the puppy was not received.
Police were called to Sheetz to meet with an 18-year old woman who was assaulted on Turnpike Avenue and chased to the store. The person was still at the store but fled when police arrived. Criminal charges will be filed on the man through the local magistrates office.
