CLEARFIELD – The Annual Special Olympics of Clearfield County Athletics Competition will be held on May 22 at the Clearfield Bison Sports Complex on the track. It is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m and participating in the opening ceremonies will be members of the Chinklacamoose Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. and Kellie Truman, Clearfield’s Main Street Manager.

During this event concessions will be available for purchase, as well as 50-50 tickets and “Be A Fan” t-shirts. Â

In addition to spectators to cheer on the athletes, volunteers are needed;Â up to 35 volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a lunch provided by Special Olympics of Clearfield County. Volunteers should check in no later than 9:00 a.m. on the day of the competition. Please show your support of your local Special Olympics athletes by being a part of this great event.
