CLEARFIELD – On Saturday roughly 600 people attended the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce’s Second Annual Wing Fling. Amy Potter, chamber director, said last year’s event had a little over 400 people.
“It’s been a really great turnout,” said Potter on Saturday.
The event opened at 1 p.m., with a line outside of the Expo II building at the Clearfield Fairgrounds. Soon, it was standing room only. The event had something for everyone, including a game area for children.
Competitors in the Restaurant Division included: Mary’s Place, Dinger’s Grand Slam Grill and Groggery, Down River Restaurant/Express Cafe and Convenience, Fun Central Holt Daddy’s and Pizza Hut.
Competitors in the Amateur Division included CP Realty and Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
And the winners were …
