Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

Police reported a one-vehicle accident that occurred on State Highway 970 south of Phoenix Road in Rush Township. On April 28 at 9:45 p.m. a white tractor trailer traveling east struck a power line and phone line that fed into a residence on the 2000 block of State Street. The residence also suffered damage where the lines were pulled down by the truck. The truck fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Philipsburg.
Police reported an incident in which a Dodge Neon was exiting Weis Market in Philipsburg and hit a 2004 Honda Pilot that was parked. The Neon then left the parking lot, turning right on Center Street. A witness told police the Neon was white.
