Phyllis W. Cowfer, 81 of Osceola Mills, died Sunday at her home.
Born on Nov. 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (Beck) Wright. She was Christian by faith.
She graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School in 1946. She was a retired telephone operator for Bell Telephone.
On July 20, 1950 in Philipsburg, she wed David L. Cowfer, who survives her at home. She was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters.
She was survived by her son, David M. Cowfer, of Osceola Mills.
A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, is serving the family.
A private visitation will be held. Interment will be at the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
