PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation (PRC) announced this week that their Web site has a whole new look! Thanks in part to a grant from the Centre County Community Foundation Dixon Computers of Philipsburg upgraded the format of the new site.
“We are hoping that the new site is more user-friendly” said Program Manager Emily Gette-Doyle. “A lot of people turn to our site for information about events, business site selection, history and visitor information we are pleased to make it easier for them to do so” she said. The PRC hopes to keep updating and to add new features like a photo gallery and blog spot.
The Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation is a non-profit charitable organization as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The PRC and the Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership jointly operate the Philipsburg Main Street Program which is funded through community support of businesses and individuals. The program receives technical support from the Pennsylvania Downtown Center.
