Larry G. Henry, 64, of Madera, passed away on April 23, 2010 due to a vehicle accident.
Born June 3, 1945 at Philipsburg, he was a son of Clarence James and Grace Hazel (Henry) Henry.
Larry was a 1964 graduated of the Philipsburg High School. He was a licensed blaster for the Austin Powder Co. for 17 years and retired in 1983 as a truck driver.
He was Protestant by faith and a life member of Reliance Fire Co. of Philipsburg.
On June 27, 1970 he wed Linda S. (Webb) Henry who survives at Madera. He is also survived by a son and daughter, Steven L. Henry and Jennifer A. Henry both at home.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers; Kay Wills, Norma Jean King, Beverly Showers, Richard Henry, Fred Henry and Donald Henry.
Larry was an avid football fan and lover of animals, especially his pets; Kissy, Peanut, Toby, Tinker, Samantha, Penny, Tazz, Midnight and Lily. They will miss him dearly.
There will be no public visitation. Larry’s wishes were to be cremated.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Madera, with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m.until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
