HARRISBURG – Citizens’ Update, the commonwealth’s quarterly informational report on the progress and impact of the federal Recovery Act investments, is now available online.
The report is produced by the state’s Office of Accountability to provide a user-friendly look at the state’s stimulus activities. The report provides information beyond the required quarterly federal reports the commonwealth submitted April 10.
“We think it’s important for people to know what they are getting from stimulus investments,” said Ronald J. Naples, chief accountability officer. “Our Citizens’ Update provides a snapshot of Recovery Act investments, programs, and impacts.”
The report covers several areas, including investments, jobs, long-term assets, programs that help people in need, performance and outcome measures, and accountability. This quarter’s report features colorful new graphics to help explain, at a glance, how much has been spent in each of nine categories, plus charts that track the impact and progress of programs in the nine categories.
The report, which is produced in a format that can be easily downloaded and printed, can found at www.recovery.pa.gov.
