Fair Queen Rachel Syktich crowned Isabelle McMonigal an “honorary princess” at Saturday night’s eighth annual “Queens for Kids” Music Fund Fest.
Syktich said she was touched by Isabelle, inspiring her to name her lamb, which she’s raising, “Princess Isabelle.”
“It represents everything we believe in,” Syktich said. She said Isabelle would appear with her in upcoming parades locally.
“We named her an honorary princess even though she’s a princess even without her crown,” said Bob Swales, fair queen committee chairman.
