CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of April 5, 2010.
Shaw Identified the Fugitive as Bradley Allen Teats, age 27, of Clarendon Avenue, Hyde.
Shaw stated that Teats is wanted for failure to appear at Criminal Call on July 16, 2009. On Jan. 15, 2009, Patrolman J. Michael Morris of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint charging Teats with: 1) theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, F3; 2) theft by unlawful taking, F3; and 3) receiving stolen property, F3.
An affidavit of probable Cause filed by Morris states that between Dec. 12, 2008 and Jan. 15, 2009, Teats was working as a manager at the Kwik Fill located on South Second Street in Clearfield when he failed to make bank deposits on six occasions. The total of the deposits was in excess of $10,000.00.
A preliminary hearing was held on Jan. 21, 2009, at which time Teats waived the charges to court. Teats was scheduled to appear for Criminal Call in July 2009, and failed to appear. A warrant was then issued for Teats’ arrest.
