Police responded to Bowman’s Hill Road where a 32-year old woman reported being assaulted by another resident. After investigating the incident, police found out the 32-year old woman forced her way into a residence while she was intoxicated. She was physically removed from the home by the occupants. Police also found that the woman assaulted another woman while inside the residence prior to being removed. Officers are filing charges against the 32-year old woman for harassment and public drunkenness.
Police received a traffic complaint regarding an older, full size truck speeding on Coal Hill Road. Police will be providing extra patrols in the area.
Police are investigating a call they received from a man living in South Carolina who advised police that someone obtained his bank account information and made purchases at Wal-Mart in Clearfield. The man is described as being black and wearing a ball cap.

Police removed debris from state Route 879. Items removed included rusty sheet metal and a metal grate.
Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police with a two vehicle accident on Market Street.
Police were called to Wal-Mart for a wallet theft.
Police received several calls regarding harassment by communication in which a resident was receiving numerous unwanted text messages. Police spoke with the person sending the messages and discovered he was texting the wrong person.
Police recovered a lost wallet from Wal-Mart. It was returned to its owner.
Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Goshen Road. A Grampian man lost control of his vehicle while rounding a curve in the road and overturned. The man was taken to the Clearfield Hospital for evaluation. Assisting police were Clearfield Emergency Services and Lawrence Township Fire Company #1.
