CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of March 29, 2010.
Shaw Identified the Fugitive as Travis Scott Pollick, 31 of Ridge Avenue, Curwensville.
Shaw stated that Pollick is wanted for failure to appear at Arraignment Court on Feb. 18, 2009.
On Dec. 29, 2008, Tpr. David Patrick, of the Pennsylvania State Police, Woodland Barracks, filed a criminal complaint, charging Pollick with firearm ownership – providing false information and unsworn falsification to authorities.
An affidavit of probable cause, filed by Patrick, states that Pollick entered a store attempting to purchase a Ruger, model 10-22RR, .22 caliber rifle. In an effort to purchase the firearm, Pollick submitted an ATF Form 4473.
On the form, Pollick provided false information regarding his eligibility to own a firearm. When the store ran the required P.I.C.S. check, it was learned that Pollick was prohibited from purchasing the firearm.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 28, 2009. Pollick failed to appear at the hearing, and the charges were held to court. Pollick again failed to appear at arraignment court on Feb. 18, 2009. A warrant was then issued for Pollick’s arrest.
Shaw described Pollick as 5-foot, 8-inches tall and 190 pounds. He has both brown eyes and hair.
Anyone with knowledge of Pollick’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crimestoppers at (800)-376-4700. All calls to Crimestoppers are confidential.
