PINE TOWNSHIP – A weekend motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Sykesville man on Saturday afternoon.
According to state policein Clearfield, Adam LaBorde, 27, was traveling at a high rate of speed on state Route 153 on the rear wheel of a Kawasaki Ninja. Police said when he brought the front wheel down he lost control of the bike. He traveled off of the road and struck a tree.
He was pronounced dead a the scene by the Clearfield County Assistant Coroner. Police said he was wearing a motorcycle helmet.
