Donald R. Saupp , age 92, formerly of Houtzdale and Philipsburg passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 6, 1917 he was the son of the late James and Alice Saupp.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Houtzdale.
He graduated from the former Houtzdale High School and retired as a sign painter for Saupp Signs and had also worked for Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown, MD.
He is survived by a brother, Robert D. Saupp and his wife Delores of Philipsburg, a brother in law, Ray Walker of Bigler and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Walker, Lenore Stott and an infant sister; and four brothers, Charles, Kenneth, Chauncey and Dillon Saupp.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills with the Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating. Burial will be held in the IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
