Police reported an incident of retail theft that occurred at the Wal-Mart in St. Mary’s. A 58-year old woman took several items from the store without paying for them. Police are continuing to investigate the incident with charges pending against the woman.
Police are advising drivers that a sobriety check will take place within Elk County during the month of April. This sobriety check will be on roadways within ElkCounty that have high incidences of alcohol related crashes.
