PSP Philipsburg

Police reported an incident of theft and forgery that occurred when a person wrote several forged checks from two different accounts to the Philipsburg Fire Department. The checks were written between Dec. 1, 2009 and March 8 by a 23-year old man. Charges of forgery and theft will be filed through Magesterial District Magistrate 49-3-03.
Police responded to a complaint of loud noise from an apartment building on the 400 block of Presqueisle Street. The apartment was a source of persistent complaints. The person would not answer the door upon request by the police. Police intend to file a single count of summary disorderly conduct.
