Brockway – The 2009-2010 Clearfield Bison wrestling team had a successful first step into the post-season on Tuesday night; and they didn’t even have to break a sweat. They garnered the most #1 seeds at the District 9 AAA Seeding Meeting at Brockway High School.
Clearfield was rewarded for their successful campaign by having their wrestlers named top seed in six of the 14 weight classes. Bradford earned four top seeds, while DuBois has two, and Punxsutawney and St. Marys managed one each.
Here is Clearfield’s post-season roster with their seed, record, and first opponent in the District 9 Championships, which will take place Saturday on the campus of Clarion University:

The top three finishers will advance to the Northwest Region tournament at Altoona High School on March 5 and 6.
