CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has removed weight postings on the Little Laurel Run Bridge on state Route 2024 in Decatur Township, two miles northwest of Philipsburg. With bridge repairs complete, PennDOT has been able to remove the recently placed weight restriction posting. The bridge had been posted for a 23-ton weight limit for single vehicles and a 35-ton weight limit for combination vehicles.
The Little Laurel Run Bridge was built in 1935, is 28 feet long and carries an average of 985 vehicles per day.
