CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority and Clearfield County Planning and Community Development Office are teaming up to offer a grant writing workshop on Feb. 11.
The workshop, which will be at the Leonard Street Multi-Service Center Auditorium, will be held in two sessions. The first session will be from 10 a.m. to noon, and participants will learn about local hotel tax grant opportunities, criteria, and how to prepare a quality proposal for the Clearfield County Tourism Promotion grant fund and Commissioners Discretionary Hotel Tax Funds.
The afternoon session will run from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and will be directed at helping participants to understand the various components of a successful grant proposal. The information will be helpful for those who wish to pursue public or private funding opportunities.
For those attending both sessions, for a cost of $5, lunch will be provided from noon-12:30 p.m.
