CLEARFIELD – The 2009 Clearfield County SPCA holiday Wish Tree will remain decorated and twinkling until Jan. 9 so area residents can donate items the organization needs to provide for the animals in its care.
Waggin’ Trains pet supply store, 1226 South Second Street in Clearfield, is hosting the Wish Tree for the second year.
“We’ve seen a wonderful response but there is always room for more. We’re getting calls to see if people can still donate and we want them to know absolutely,” said Shari Trythall of Waggin’ Trains.
The Wish List includes: rugs, towels, blankets, laundry detergent, paper plates, paper towels, copier paper, 33-gallon trash bags, bleach, plain clay cat litter and Kong brand toys.
Money is always needed and appreciated, Trythall added.
Waggin’ Trains is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monetary gifts may be mailed to Waggin’ Trains or to the SPCA shelter, 541 Graham Station Road, Philipsburg, 16866.
