CLEARFIELD – A Karthaus man accused of shooting a pellet gun out of a vehicle while he had a 12-year-old child waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
Duane Granite is charged with endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, disorderly conduct, permitting unauthorized person to drive and permitting violation of title.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, state police were called for an incident in which Granite was firing a pellet gun out of a vehicle while a 12-year-old drove. Officers spoke with another juvenile and learned that there were a number of juveniles in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
