CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation received a founding contribution of $10,000 from CNB Bank for the year 2009. Presenting the $10,000 contribution is Joseph Bower, CNB Bank president and Mark D. Breakey, EVP. Receiving the contribution is CRC Main Street Manager Kellie Truman.
According to Truman, “CNB Bank is a founding contributor of the CRC, which was vital in the application process for the revitalization program for Clearfield. For a community applying into the Main Street Program, the Department of Community and Economic Development requires a local match of contributions to fund the first 5 years.”
“The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation is sincerely thankful for CNB Bank’s contribution. This helped make it possible for Clearfield to become accepted into the Main Street Program. We are deeply appreciative and honored that CNB Bank supports our revitalization efforts and believes in the betterment of Clearfield,” said Truman.
Bower stated, “CNB is proud to assist in the development of such an important organization for the betterment of Clearfield. The Main Street Program should help revitalize our downtown area, making our town a more desirable place to live and work”.
